Brief description of study
Detailed description of study
- All subjects who enroll in the study will have an initial visit (3-5 hrs) and then have yearly visits.
- All in person visits include neuropsychological testing, physical and neurological examination, and completion of a questionnaire by a person who knows the subject well.
- Telephone follow-up visits will be done at the discretion of the PI and participant based on availability and health.
- Audio recordings of verbal memory and verbal fluency subtests will be obtained with subsequent transcription to improve scoring accuracy.
- A sample of blood (85 ml, about 6 tablespoons) will be drawn at each in-person visit for biomarker and genetic research. The IADRC prefers that blood be drawn following a fasting of 6 – 8 hours.
