Overview

This study is a non-randomized prospective study in which we will assess cannabis-using HF patients referred to an advanced HF center. We will determine the prevalence and patterns of cannabis use in HF patients using the Cannabis Use Disorder Identification Test- Revised (CUDIT-R) and evaluate compliance with medications and treatment regimen using the Morisky medication adherence scale-8 including appointment among patients with HF referred to an advanced HF center. We will then compare this group to a similarly matched non-cannabis using HF cohort.
This study is recruiting patients from the Eskenazi Adult Congenital Heart Disease Program ONLY.
