Brief description of study
This study is designed to be a prospective, multi-center educational intervention study to evaluate the impact of a simulator-based educational curriculum on the institutional utilization of laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE) for the management of patients with choledocholithiasis.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Choledocholithiasis

Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Patients undergoing laparoscopic cholecystectomy plus any of the following procedures during the 2 years prior to start of the curriculum, and or 2 years following the curriculum:
Preoperative ERCP or EUS for suspected or confirmed choledocholithiasis within 90 days of surgery and within the same defined study period as the cholecystectomy (HISTORICAL or POST-CURRICULUM period)
Laparoscopic common bile duct exploration
Postoperative ERCP* for intraoperatively confirmed choledocholithiasis within 30 days of cholecystectomy.
Preoperative ERCP or EUS for suspected or confirmed choledocholithiasis within 90 days of surgery and within the same defined study period as the cholecystectomy (HISTORICAL or POST-CURRICULUM period)
Laparoscopic common bile duct exploration
Postoperative ERCP* for intraoperatively confirmed choledocholithiasis within 30 days of cholecystectomy.
