Researchers will take 3 biopsies from the outer portion of the kidney while participants are undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy (PCNL) for their kidney stones.
The biopsies will be studied under a microscope, notes taken, and then the biopsies stored in the Kidney Precision Medicine Project (KPMP) Central Biorepository for future research.
