The purpose of this study is to explore how coagulopathy at the time of injury may influence not only acute complications during the initial hospital stay, but also to see how this initial coagulopathic and pro-inflammatory state may affect long term outcomes.

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: orthopaedic trauma

Age: 18 years - 100 years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Patient with lower extremity long bone fracture or pelvis/acetabular fracture and ISS>15
Patients must have been initially treated within the IU Health System
Patients at least 18 years of age
