Brief description of study
Do you identify as a woman and as pro-life? Do you have friends who do? Share your voice, and join our study!
DID YOU KNOW? There is no standard definition of reproductive identities, such as pro-choice and pro-life. This can make it difficult to have civil discussions about reproductive health, which are so important in the United States today.
Recent political attention has been given to reproductive legislation, highlighting the need to understand reproductive identities.
Researchers at Indiana University’s Department of Communication Studies want to understand what women who identify as pro-life have to say about their identity label.
Understanding women’s perspectives may prove insightful for the future as women continue to reproduce and make decisions about their healthcare and identities. Our goal is to improve public and patient-provider discourse about reproductive health.
