DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAVE A CHILD WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES?  Join our SURPASS-PEDS study!

Researchers at Indiana University School of Medicine are looking for children and teens to take part in a study evaluating a potential treatment for the condition.

To qualify, your child must be 10 to 17 years old, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and currently being treated with diet, exercise, and metformin or basal insulin, or both medications.

Participants may receive:

  • Access to a pediatric type 2 diabetes investigational medication
  • Care and support from research doctors and their healthcare teams
  • Possible compensation for time + travel
All study-related care will be provided at no cost.

Eligibility

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions:
    type 2 diabetes
  • Age: Between 10 Years - 17 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria:
  • Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
  • Are currently being treated with diet, exercise, and
    metformin or basal insulin, or both medications
