Brief description of study
DO YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW HAVE A CHILD WITH TYPE 2 DIABETES? Join our SURPASS-PEDS study!
Researchers at Indiana University School of Medicine are looking for children and teens to take part in a study evaluating a potential treatment for the condition.
To qualify, your child must be 10 to 17 years old, diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, and currently being treated with diet, exercise, and metformin or basal insulin, or both medications.
Participants may receive:
- Access to a pediatric type 2 diabetes investigational medication
- Care and support from research doctors and their healthcare teams
- Possible compensation for time + travel
All study-related care will be provided at no cost.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Inclusion Criteria:
- Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
- Are currently being treated with diet, exercise, and
metformin or basal insulin, or both medications
