Brief description of study
If any of the above statements sometimes describe you, you may be eligible for a study at Indiana University that investigates social decision-making in people with these experiences.
Detailed description of study
- Session 1: Complete online questionnaires either at home or in-person (~1.5-2 hours).
- Session 2: Complete in-person clinical interviews and cognitive assessments (~2-3 hours).
- Session 3: Complete an fMRI scan during which you will complete the social decision-making game, followed by additional interviews (~3.5-4 hours). Sessions may be extended if multiple breaks are requested.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy volunteer

Age: 18 years - 45 years

Gender: All
- Must be between the ages of 18-45
- Arrive sober & pass a drug test (e.g., no cocaine/meth/heroin), no major drug problems
- Normal/corrected hearing and vision
Exclusion Criteria:
- History of cardiovascular disease
- History of neurological and/or neuro-degenerative disorders, traumatic brain injury or other head injury resulting in loss of consciousness for 5 minutes or longer (i.e. self reported)
- Inability to undergo an MRI scan (such as having metallic implants or having fear of being in small or enclosed spaces; claustrophobia)
- Women who are pregnant or are actively trying to become pregnant
- Failure to pass a drug screen (e.g., cocaine/meth/heroine, etc.)
