Brief description of study

Have you ever wondered about the safety of medicinal CBD?  Join our study!
 

 
What is this study about?
The goal of this study is to assess the safety of CBD with tacrolimus, an agent taken by transplant patients to prevent organ rejection. This study seeks to understand the interaction between CBD and tacrolimus along with the underlying genetic factor.
 

 
Who can participate?
Adults, 18-65 years of age, with or without chronic kidney disease

Detailed description of study

What happens during study participation?
  • Attend 3 separate 12hr inpatient visits
  • Attend 6 brief outpatient visits
  • All visits will be at IU University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN
     
Incentive/compensation
  • $50 for the screening visit and $1000 for completion of all visits
  • Parking validation for all visits

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: Healthy, Kidney Disease
  • Age: Between 18 Years - 75 Years
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria:
  • Generally healthy or have kidney disease
  • BMI 18.5-35
    Not used tobacco or marijuana in the past 3 months
