Brief description of study
Join an Indiana University Research Jam session on Post-Covid-19 - YOUR THOUGHTS AND OPINIONS MATTER!
Research Jam is a group of people who work with different researchers and experts to learn about things and to solve problems.
We are looking for volunteers to participate in one group discussion around motivations and barriers to participating in study that researches the longer-term impacts of COVID-19.
Any adults 18 years of age or older, regardless of health condition(s). who are living in Indiana, are invited to participate.
Group sessions will last up to 3 hours and will take place at a location that is convenient for participants,
or at a location on the IU campus in Indianapolis. Activities may also
be facilitated online via Zoom.
Detailed description of study
What Happens During Participation
- You will be asked to participate in one group session, what we call a jam.
- Activities for the jam can include group discussion and other creative activities (collage, journey mapping, etc.) to help
us understand how to recruit to the CDC Long-Covid study.
- Each jam should last three hours and there will be up to 12 people in each jam.
- Each activity (jam) will take approx. three hours.
- You might be asked to participate in more than one jam, and you do not have to participate in more than one jam if you don’t want to.
Incentive/Compensation
- You will be paid $50/hour in gift cards for your participation in each jam session (up to $150 in gift cards total)
- If the jam is in-person: You will be provided a meal and parking validation (if needed).
