Brief description of study
We propose a study that
incorporates mind-body skills with diabetes education specifically designed for
adolescents with T1D. To our knowledge,
this is the first of such a study in adolescents with T1D.
Detailed description of study
Adapt a mind-body skills intervention for integration in diabetes education sessions for use with adolescent youth with type 1 diabetes
Pilot test the feasibility and acceptability of the type 1 diabetes mind-body skills intervention in the target population

Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Type 1 Diabetes, Riley

Age: 15 years - 17 years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria:
- · Age 15-17 years· Diagnosis of type 1 diabetes for at least 6 months· A parent or guardian who agrees to participate
Exclusion Criteria:
- · Diagnosed cognitive disabilities· Other uncontrolled chronic diseases. Participants may have well-controlled conditions such as treated thyroid disease, asthma, etc. but these conditions must be well-controlled as assessed by the PI.· Inability to attend visits due to individual schedules
