Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to develop a technique that automates the 3-D arterial construction of anatomical geometry of the diseased carotid arteries based on duplex ultrasound B-mode images from cine loops
Detailed description of study
Subjects will be scheduled for a bilateral
Carotid Duplex Ultrasound (DUS) in the IUH Outpatient Vascular Lab (Methodist
Professional Center 2). It is anticipated that study patients will be recruited
from the Vascular Surgery clinic and that initial review of the eligibility
requirements for the patients will be supervised by physicians who are
clinically authorized to evaluate these patients. Patients will be contacted by
the study coordinator at the end of the clinic visit or shortly afterwards.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: Carotid stenosis

Age: Between 18 Years - 100 Years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria:
- - Patients 18 years and older who have undergone a clinical CTA scan within the past 60 days as part of an evaluation for carotid stenosis.
Exclusion Criteria:
-
Vulnerable
patients (pregnant women, prisoners, patients who lack consent capacity, have a
terminal illness or mental disease or who are homeless).
