Brief description of study

The purpose of this study is to develop a technique that automates the 3-D arterial construction of anatomical geometry of the diseased carotid arteries based on duplex ultrasound B-mode images from cine loops

Detailed description of study

Subjects will be scheduled for a bilateral Carotid Duplex Ultrasound (DUS) in the IUH Outpatient Vascular Lab (Methodist Professional Center 2). It is anticipated that study patients will be recruited from the Vascular Surgery clinic and that initial review of the eligibility requirements for the patients will be supervised by physicians who are clinically authorized to evaluate these patients. Patients will be contacted by the study coordinator at the end of the clinic visit or shortly afterwards.
