Brief description of study
Measure the levels of key metabolites in maternal blood during pregnancies where the children developed ASD or were typically-developing (TD). If successful, this study will result in a diagnostic test for risk of having a child with ASD, and suggest treatments during pregnancy such as folate, vitamin B12, and carnitine for ASD prevention.
