The purpose of this project is to explore the circumstances and life events that influence women down the path of drug use and criminal activity.

What Happens During Our Study?
This study intends to investigate the descent into drugs and crime from the perspective of women who have previously been charged with crimes beyond the possession of illegal substances. Specifically, this project aims to explore what women perceive as precursors to their criminal experience.
Eligible and interested participants will be interviewed via Zoom for approximately 45 - 60 minutes.

Participants must have been convicted of a criminal offense other than but not excluding drug-related charges.
