Brief description of study

Why is this study being done?

Researchers at Purdue University are seeking health providers to participate in a discussion on contraceptives. This study aims to seek perspectives of healthcare providers who offer birth control services in their regular practice regarding patient self-administration of subcutaneous DMPA-SC

Who can take part?

Healthcare providers (physicians, nurses/midwives, physician assistants, pharmacists) who prescribe birth control and are currently practicing in Indiana.

Detailed description of study

What will happen during the study?

  • Participants will complete a 60 minute virtual interview.

Incentive/compensation

  • Participants will receive a $30 gift card for their time.

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: all
  • Age: 18 years or above
  • Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria:

  • Healthcare providers (Physicians, Nurses/Midwives, Physician assistants, Pharmacists) who prescribe birth control
  • Must currently be practicing in Indiana
