Older Adults Needed for Study on Communication and Storytelling in Later Life
Brielle Stark
Primary Investigator

Brief description of study
We are conducting a research study to learn more about how things involving language, like storytelling, are similar across testing sessions. This will help us tailor assessment and treatment of disorders such as aphasia, which is a language disorder acquired after a brain injury to the left hemisphere.
Participants must be able to complete a two-part study over Zoom using a webcam on a computer (no tablets or phones can be used).
Detailed description of study
If you are eligible and agree to participate, you will complete a total of two sessions over Zoom.
Each session will take approximately 2-3 hours.
Testing will involve speaking about topics given to you by the experimenter as well as tests to evaluate your language and general thinking and memory.
Payment/compensation: You will receive a $150 digital gift card for completing all of the study requirements.
