Brief description of study
We are working on a study that would investigate on the genetics behind differences in facial morphology (form and structure of facial features).
Detailed description of study
The primary objective is to investigate morphological variation between human facial structure using cone-beam computed tomography, 2D, and 3D images. The goal of this study is to assess facial soft tissue thickness (FSTT) between the skull and the face to determine if soft tissue morphology, the externally visible characteristics of the face, can be predicted from stable anthropological skeletal landmarks because of the expected influence hard tissue morphology has on soft tissue morphology.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: healthy
-
Age: 18 years - 100 years
-
Gender: All
Exclusion Criteria
Any females of childbearing potential with a positive urine pregnancy test will be excluded from participation due to unknown risk to the embryo or fetus
Additional Information:
Participants will not be paid for their participation.
