This study investigates how spirituality and mood changes affect children with Pediatric Inflammatory Bowel Disease (PIBD). Inflammatory Bowel Disease, or IBD, makes parts of the intestine or bowel red and swollen. It is a long-lasting condition that can be constant or come and go. Many children with IBD also experience anxiety and depression.
Participants in this study will complete surveys at different times to understand their spirituality and mood. These surveys will be done at the start, around week 24, and around week 52. The study will look at how these factors connect with the children's health status.
