Brief description of study

Have you ever wondered if different types of milk really taste different? We want to find out—and you can help.

We’re looking for adults ages 18–45 to join a fun research study about milk!

We are studying how people taste and choose between different kinds of milk, such as:

Regular milk
Lactose-free milk
Ultra-filtered milk
A2 milk

We’ll also look at different fat levels like fat-free, 2%, and whole milk.

Detailed description of study

What will you do?
You will attend study visits at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Each visit takes about 30 minutes. You can join 1 visit or up to 21 visits, but no more than 1 visit per day.

At each study visit, you will:

Taste small samples of milk
Group similar samples together
Rank which ones you like best
Answer a short survey about taste

Even if you’re not sure you can tell a difference, that’s okay—just give it your best try!

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

Conditions: Healthy
Age: 18 years - 45 years
Gender: All

Inclusion Criteria:

Able to consume dairy

Exclusion Criteria:

Pregnant
Milk lactose sensitivities and/or severe food allergies of any kind
