Brief description of study
The purpose of this study is to identify biomarkers (small molecules in the blood) that can predict those people at risk of developing Type 1 diabetes.
Detailed description of study
The purpose of this study is to develop and validate biomarkers that predict T1D disease risk and document disease progression based on blood or urine indicators of beta cell stress and death in emerging and establish T1D.
Eligibility of study
You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:
- Conditions: type 1 diabetes, healthy

Age: 1 years - 40 years

Gender: All
Inclusion Criteria
Healthy adult or child without diabetes or new type 1 diabetic within 7 days of diagnosis by a physician.
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant
Current smoker
Psychiatric impairment or current use of anti-psychotic medication
Chronic illness known to affect glucose metabolism or taking medications known to affect glucose metabolism
Additional Information:Healthy adult or child without diabetes or new type 1 diabetic within 7 days of diagnosis by a physician.
Exclusion Criteria

Participants will be compensated for their participation.
