Brief description of study

This project is a proof-of-concept, randomized controlled trial to test the hypothesis that vitamin E improves hepatic steatosis and markers of hepatic necroinflammation in HIV infected individuals with biopsy-proven NASH (non alcoholic steatohepatitis).

This project is a proof-of-concept, randomized controlled trial to test the hypothesis that vitamin E improves hepatic steatosis and markers of hepatic necroinflammation in HIV infected individuals with biopsy-proven NASH (non alcoholic steatohepatitis).

Eligibility of study

You may be eligible for this study if you meet the following criteria:

  • Conditions: HIV,hepatic steatosis
  • Age: 100 years or below
  • Gender: All
